DESCRIPTION:Biofeedback Association of South Africa (BFSA) is offering a vi
 rtual EEG/QEEG 27-hour course (didactic\, practical\, and self study).\n\n
 Modules are offered on various dates between 29 February 2024 and 17 Augus

 ofeedback and QEEG practitioners to a deeper level of understanding for be
 ginners and advanced practitioners\, suitable for BCIA recertification\, a
 nd CPD points will be applied for.\n\nThis course is intended primarily fo
 r individuals training / practicing Neurofeedback or QEEG Assessment. Regi
 stration with an appropriate licensing Board\, in a Health Professional Sp
 ecialty (which enables practitioners to add NFB and QEEG as additional mod
 alities to their practice)\, is a requirement. It is also open to other re
 gistered categories e.g. Psychologists\, O.T\,s etc. who may be interested
  in a basic\, hands-on course.\nTraining in NFB and QEEG DOES NOT enable i
 ndividuals to make a neurological diagnosis. This is the domain of Neurolo
 gists.\nThe main purpose of this course is to provide entry-level knowledg
 e and practical competency in the domains of EEG acquisition\, NFB and QEE
 G\, addressing the overlap and differences between these disciplines\, and
  providing a strong foundation for future specialized training of register
 ed practitioners in these disciplines.\nThis course is NOT a NFB or QEEG q
 ualification course\, but it is viewed as preparatory training for the 36-
 hour BCIA and IQEEG Bootcamp courses. The latter still needs to be complet
 ed through accredited trainers to certify with the respective boards.\nThe
  only purpose of the course is to enhance knowledge\, enabling clinicians 
 to become better practitioners.
