Ron Swatzyna and Jay Gunke lman (2011) explained the clinical significance of paroxysmal EEG discharg es and specifically how the presence of paroxymal activity in clients wit hout convulsions exhibit significant discharge related symptoms. They asse rt that if the location of the paroxymal EEG discharges correlates with o bserved symptomology\, it is highly likely that the discharges are respons ible. This presentation reviews two clients with temporal lobe transients . The first is paroxysmal in nature and the second is not. The cases will be reviewed from beginning of assessment including pictures of raw EEG pa tterns (from Jay Gunkelman himself)\, qEEG\, client history &\; presen ting symtpoms\, protocol selection &\; implementation\, and Neurofeedba ck treatment outcomes immediately after treatment and one year after comp letion of treatment.
